One Laptop Per Child (OLPC) - Buy One / Give One

For a short time (until December 30, 2007-just extended!) the OLPC initiative will allow you to purchase one of their innovative machines in a way that allows you to donate a second machine to a child as you purchase.

The December 3, 2007 episoide of This Week in Tech (Leo Laporte's podcast abouit all things Tech) has an interesting discussion from the panel on several aspects of the OLPC Initiative where they stand vis-a-vis Intel and Microsoft. TWIT is always a good entertaining listen.
